Frequently Asked Questions
Starting something new can bring questions.
Here are a few answers to help you better understand how we work and what to expect.
Is this the same as physical therapy?
No.
Physical therapy focuses on treating a specific diagnosis and addressing the area of concern. Our work is centered around whole-body strength, balance, and mobility. If you are currently in physical therapy, we can complement that plan as well.
Do I need to complete physical therapy before working with you?
Short answer -- no.
Every situation is different. We've had clients begin training with us and later be referred to physical therapy if needed, either working alongside their therapist or pausing services until therapy is complete. We've also had many clients referred to us after finishing physical therapy.
We will determine the safest and most appropriate plan based on your individual needs.
What does a typical session look like?
Sessions are individualized and may include strength training, balance work, and mobility exercises.
If you have a home exercise program from a clinician, we can align with that plan while gradually incorporating additional movement patterns or body regions to support overall function and long-term mobility.
How long is a session?
Sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes. Most sessions run about 45-60 minutes, depending on your comfort level and energy that day.
What if I get re-injured?
That concern is very common -- and completely valid.
Sessions are intentional and progressive. We move at your pace, focusing on proper form, controlled movement, and building strength without pushing into unnecessary pain.
The goal is long-term progress, not short-term intensity.
Do you accept insurance?
No. We are not medical providers, and our services are not billed through insurance. All sessions are private pay.
Payment options include cash, check, and Apple Pay.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies depending on frequency and package selection. Session packages are available for those who prefer a consistent schedule.
Details are discussed during the initial consultation so we can determine the best fit for your needs.
